Chopping up an entire block of cheese into even pieces can be a time-consuming task – whether you're cubing it for a party or just trying to make some sandwiches for your hungry family.
But you don't have to struggle with forcing the knife through the dense block anymore. That's because one woman believes she has found a quick and easy solution to the problem.
You can put the knife away for this one, as Madison Davis has just the solution. The social media star, who is known as @lifeasmadisondavis, is known for sharing her lifestyle content online.
She shares everything from parenting to snippets of her life as a pastor's wife. However, her latest video showed her sharing a cheese hack "you never knew you needed."
In the video, which has gained more than 628,000 likes, the mum sliced the block up the centre. She then went across it from side to side.
Make 2023 your most productive year yet by using the 'intention' methodAnd to make the job easier, she was using a pizza cutter instead of a knife. It glided through easily and divided the block into thick slices of cheddar within seconds.
Madison only happened on the hack because she was behind on the dishes. She wrote in the caption: "The only way to cut a block of cheese! I figured this out a couple of years ago when all of my knives were dirty and it’s been the best!"
TikTok users were left stunned by the clip and took to the comments to give their opinions. One user said: "I mean this is like common sense that I didn’t even have! I will be doing this from now on!."
Another added: "Wait. Why have I never thought of this!! Genius," while a third commented: "This is why I need TikTok in my life."
A fourth wrote: "We use ours for so much! Grilled cheese, pancakes, quesadillas, etc! (I work at a daycare so it speeds up lunch)."
It comes after a savvy woman provided a handy solution to cutting cheese – as you can often end up with uneven slices doing it by hand. Her nifty trick promises 'even slices' each and every time.
