Now that Christmas and New Year celebrations are over, you're likely getting started with a big clean. Tidying up, doing laundry, and putting things away.

One of the jobs is bound to be washing a load of bedding, especially if you've had guests to stay over the festive holiday. It can be a laborious task - finding enough space around the house to dry it in winter as well as finding enough space to store it away.

Thankfully, one super organised mum has shown a simple folding hack for putting away bedding neatly to save space in the cupboard - which has been praised by others online as 'game-changing'.

Professional organiser Threeya, who is based in the UK, manages to fold her fresh bedding set into just one pillowcase, which is also handy for keeping it all in one place.

Sharing the technique video to her Instagram, Tidy with Threeya, she wrote: "Folding bedsheet, is the bane of my mum life - when it comes to folding those fitted sheets or finding a set she always gets into a right state.

"#Pillowcaseparcels are the future! I’ve had a few people ask me how to fold their #bedsheets and #fittedsheets so here you go".

Threeya demonstrates each step, starting first with the fitted sheet.

The mum-of-two said: "Start with your fitted bed sheet. Get one corner to meet the other corner, do the same onto the other side and get those two to meet together.

"This way you get a square shape that you can then fold into a rectangle.

"Take your bedsheet, one of the pillowcases, and the fitted sheet you've just folded.

"Fold these together to make a pillowcase shape.

"Take the other pillowcase, turn it inside out, and weave through what you've just folded.

"Take out the extra air, cover over, do a chop, fold over, and you have a pillowcase parcel."

She adds: "By putting the pillowcase inside out it's still clean and hygienic for when the case is put fresh on the pillow!"

One fan of the hack responded: "game changer" while a few others replied: "Love this!"
