Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright have shared a rare date night snap as they enjoyed a pizza Down Under.

The pair are in Australia while Michelle, 36, is filming the second season of BBC's Ten Pound Poms. The couple, who have been married for nine years, are yet to post any snaps from their recent trip across the world. However, on Sunday, a snap of the duo appeared on Mikey's Pizza Bondi's Instagram account.

Mark, who was sporting a black hoody and jeans, and Michelle, who wore a pair of high-waisted slacks and cream crop top, flashed a grin for the camera with Mikey, the owner of the restaurant. Captioning the post, he wrote: "The Ten Pound Poms at Mikey’s today - thanks for coming, big love."

Michelle has already been to Australia once this year to film the BBC series in which group of Brits leave post-war Britain in 1956 to embark on an adventure overseas. The actress will reprise her role as nurse Kate Thorne as the Roberts family (led by Faye Marsay and Warren Brown) are determined to make the new country everything they hoped it would be.

Announcing her return to the UK earlier this month after snaps of herself and Mark on the beach Down Under were published, Michelle said she felt at home in a surprisingly relatable way. The actress revealed she'd gone shopping in HomeSense as she flashed the peace sign in the homeware store with the caption: "Back home & back to my happy place... mincing around HomeSense."

The Coronation Street star is enjoying one of the most successful times in her career, having won rave reviews for her role in Netflix drama, Fool Me Once. The Stockport-born actress has had worldwide success with the nail-biting series in which she plays ex-army captain, Maya Stern. The psychological thriller has reportedly opened many doors for Michelle, who is said to have attracted the attention of Hollywood bosses and has been inundated with scripts for future projects.

She recently celebrated another milestone as Netflix revealed the series has been watched almost 100million times around the globe. The adaptation of the Harlan Coben thriller has been the streaming platform's biggest UK hit of the year so far as viewers were gripped by the mind-bending murder mystery.

In the wake of the series' success, Michelle has even been tipped as one of the favourites for the new Bond movie. However, after teasing a move to America for work in a recent interview, she was said to be "stressed" about the decision to pursue a career she has "dreamed of" or stay with those she loves. She had already been long-distance with her TOWIE star husband, Mark, as he headed to America for work.

Opening up about her future stateside, Michelle recently told the Guardian:"I went to America when Mark was out there. Didn’t like it. But let’s see if a job comes up."
