I always thought our relationship was perfect. We were always laughing and enjoying our time together, so I couldn’t understand where this came from.
I was so heartbroken that I turned to partying and drugs to cope.
At first, I wasn’t thinking of the consequences, I just wanted to escape the pain. But now, six months later I’m addicted and I don’t know how to stop.
I know I have a problem and need help, but every time I think about quitting the pain is too much to bear.
I’m devastated.
DEIDRE SAYS: When someone ends a relationship suddenly and without proper explanation, it’s a huge shock. It can be hard to know how to cope, but drugs certainly aren’t the answer.
