Ed Sheeran was accompanied by his wife Cherry Seaborn for his debut at the Met Gala this week, with them having been spotted at the event alongside some celebrity pals.
The couple were among the guests in attendance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York on Monday night. It marked the first time that singer-songwriter Ed, 33, had been to the fashion event in the US, which is held annually.
The BRIT Award winner modelled a pale blue suit for the occasion, which has attracted attention on social media. The outfit consisted of a co-ordinated shirt, trousers and jacket. There was also a matching cummerbund and a bow tie. Ed sported a pair of black shoes as part of the look, too.
Cherry, 32, instead opted to wear an off-the-shoulder white dress for the evening. It appeared to include floral detailing and she accompanied it with a pair of white platform heels. She accessorised with some silver jewellery and a white bag.

He had his arm around her shoulder and his nose was against her cheek. Whilst another photo showed him kissing Cherry.

The couple were also spotted on the red carpet together. They were joined by fashion designer Stella McCartney, 52, and model Cara Delevingne, 31. Stella showcased a white suit, whilst her companion Cara wore a white skirt and a body armour top.
The four guests were seen walking together through the venue whilst at the Met Gala. Cherry giggled away in one photo. Another showed her beside Stella, who has attended the event on several occasions in the past, as Ed and Cara walked behind them.

Additionally, Ed also got a photo with fellow singer-songwriter Raye, 26, who was making her Met Gala debut just like him. She graced the red carpet in a sparkling silver dress that she accompanied with matching gloves.
The Met Gala's latest theme is based on the museum's new exhibition, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, which is set to open later this week. The dress code for the event on Monday was 'the Garden in Time,' inspired by the short story of the same name by the late JG Ballard.
