A clumsy Tesla driver was left with a bloody leg and in need of stitches after a parking mishap with his Cybertruck.

The unfortunate incident occurred when the electric vehicle owner parked on "an incline" and sustained a gory cut while closing the door. The man, who chose to remain anonymous, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a snap of the deep laceration on his leg.

He issued a warning to fellow Cybertruck enthusiasts to exercise caution. But despite admitting the accident was entirely his fault, he couldn't escape the ridicule from some, particularly from those critical of Elon Musk's automotive empire.

Urging other drivers to be vigilant, the injured motorist posted: "Be careful when closing your Cybertruck door! I parked on an incline, exited the truck and as I was closing the door I manage to clip the very corner of the door against my leg.

"When I got home the wife said I needed to go get stitches, so I did. I'm clumsy, so this is 100% my fault lol. I still love the truck!"

The post was accompanied by a graphic image of the wound, which drew a mixed reaction online. While one user expressed sympathy, commenting, "That's such a nasty cut lmfao brother you are not at fault," others were quick to poke fun at the situation, especially after learning he delayed seeking medical attention until his partner stepped in.

One shocked social media user said: "He didn't think that needed stitches? " while another was dumbfounded by the "unbelievable" format of the post.

One critic joked: "It's unbelievable that all of these Musk fan posts always have the same format: 'Sir, your vehicle almost killed me and my family, but it was my fault. I still love you and this car!'

Another joked the Tesla Cybertruck was the modern-day equivalent of Moon Shoes. I feel like the Cybertruck is basically the same thing as the 1990s Moon Shoes. We so desperately wanted something new and futuristic that we sacrificed all our coolness, common sense, and bodily safety for it."
