Wether you love it or dread it every week, bin day is a big topic of discussion among neighbours.

No one wants to forget about bin day, because failing to bring your wheelie bin out onto the main road means your rubbish might not be collected - leading to a build-up of smelly waste. But there's no doubt bin collection day can be a bit of hassle.

First you have to remember to bring your bins in - and then you have to bring them back onto your property from the street. It's not a job that takes a lot of time, but it can be an annoyance - especially if you have more than one bin.

But now a woman has shared a 'game-changing' hack which can make taking multiple bins into your property so much easier - and people can't wait to try. Mum-of-two Charli recently shared the hack with others in a TikTok which has now been seen by more than 630.9k people.

In the video, the 33-year-old could he heard saying: "Hack for you all, to put the bins away, so you don't have to come back to do them separate." The hack involves attaching two bins to each other, so you can easily bring them together in one swoop.

First, they place the two bins side-by-side, before opening the lid of one of them. Then, the lid of the other one is placed into the other bin, before the lid of the first one is placed back over. This way, when one bin is moved, the other follows along behind - and multiple trips aren't needed.

Many people loved the hack, and couldn't wait to try it out for themselves. One person wrote: "Omg deffo trying this now," and another dded: "So doing this in a minute," while a third commented: "Rite that's me come this Thursday. Makes my life easier."

"This is handy when you have more than 2 bins to move," pointed out another. Someone else called it "genius" while another added: "Can't wait to try this."

It's also worth remembering some wheelie bin etiquette. For example, you should only take your bin out on bin day - not days in advance. And once it's empty, you should bring it inside. You should also be careful not to block driveways, bus stops, cycle paths and foot paths.

According to a spokesperson from Garden Buildings Direct, if your wheelie bin's placement is causing or is likely to cause a nuisance, you could be fined up to £80.
