EFE AMBROSE has made the shock move to NINTH TIER side Bury.
The defender has joined the club for the 2024/25 season.

He was a part of the team that earned wins over Barcelona, Ajax and Spartak Moscow.
He also played in games against Juventus, AC Milan and Benfica.

The Nigerian will now be playing in the North West Counties Football League with the Shakers.
Manager Dave McNabb is hoping that the veteran will help the club's younger players and "excite" the supporters.
He said: "A ball-playing centre-half with an unbelievable pedigree and huge experience with over 50 international caps and over 400 professional appearances
"Efe is a great character and will certainly help some of the younger players in the squad.

The move has caused a stir on social media with fans left in shock.
One posted: "Efe Ambrose at Step 5?! That’s absolutely nuts."
A second commented: "What a legendary signing."

Ambrose started his career at Kaduna United in Nigeria before joining Israeli outfit Ashdod.
He joined Celtic in 2012 and went on to make 169 appearances for the club in all competitions.
During his time with the Bhoys, he also won four Scottish Premiership titles and one Scottish Cup.
He also formed a solid defensive partnership with now Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk.
Ambrose also established himself in the Nigeria team and won the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013.
He went on to have spells at Hibernian, Derby County, Livingston and St Johnstone.
He most recently featured for Scottish League One outfit Queen of the South.
