Ipswich are keen on the shot stopper who they would either buy or take on loan.

However, Swansea would like re-sign Rushworth after he kept nine clean sheets for the Welsh outfit in the Championship last term.

Ipswich are keen because they may lose current number one Vaclav Hladky, who has yet to sign a new three-year contract and could leave.

Brighton have a dilemma as they are set to send James Beadle back to Sheffield Wednesday while MK Dons are looking to sign Tom McGill on loan.

Rushworth would represent a solid option for Ipswich who are looking to build on their squad following their promotion last season.

The Seagulls academy graduate has played in every division in England's professional game, except the Premier League.

The one-time England U21 international spent time on loan with Walsall and Lincoln to build experience and could finally get his big break in the Premier League with a move to Ipswich.

Rushworth isn't the only new name linked with a move to Portman Road.
