A MAN has been charged with alleged voyeurism on the second night of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in Edinburgh.

Around 220,000 Swifties descended on the national rugby stadium over the weekend for the hitmaker's hotly anticipated shows.

Fans of the singer-songwriter travelled from near and far to see their idol, including from Australia and the US.

The gig-goers braved the fresh weather kitted out with foil blankets, ponchos and sleeping bags.

Cops confirmed there was just one arrest over the weekend which was made at Saturday's show.

A 64-year-old man was arrested at Murrayfield and charged with alleged voyeurism offences.

Superintendent David Happs said: "A 64-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with voyeurism within Murrayfield during the event on Saturday, 8 June.

"He was released on an undertaking to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date."

In a separate incident, we told how a man's body was found near Murrayfield as a suspect was charged in connection with the death.

Cops were called to a property on Westfield Road, which is around 300 metres from Murrayfield Stadium, at around 12:55pm on Friday.

Officers urged motorists and revellers in the area to use other routes while they responded to the incident.

A 43-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with the death and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.

Meanwhile, the pop icon went from Shake it Off to Flake it Off for her opening Edinburgh gig after ordering a mammoth GREGGS order for her crew.
