The former Sweden captain wore an oversized black t shirt and matching baggy shorts which were paired with a pair of Nike sliders.

His attire was worlds away from the typical managerial suit.

Fans on X loved his casual take on management.

One fan wrote: "Forget your roll-neck jumpers and slip-on loafers. Give us more managers like Olof Mellberg."

Another fan chimed in to say: "This is the good stuff. Dishevelled look, beach attire"

A third said: "Some defender in his day."

He then left to join Juventus.
