Selena Gomez will likely be going through a "tough" time after Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey's pregnancy announcement after Selena loved her ex "whole-heartedly".
Selena and Justin had a very high-profile romance for several years. The couple had an and off for eight years from 2010 until 2018. In the middle of their romance, Justin had a brief fling with Hailey, which would later be rekindled - but not before getting back with Selena.
But in 2018, things were officially over for Selena and Justin - for good. Justin then went on to marry Hailey, formerly Baldwin, in 2018 after a whirlwind engagement. The couple got hitched on September 13, 2019, and obtained their marriage license at a New York City courthouse.

The couple shared that they will soon welcome their first child together, with Hailey expecting. "Nothing is potentially as poignant or painful as seeing your first love move on with someone else. Even though you can wish them well and be happy with how your romantic life is playing out, there will be touch points of pain as you watch events from the sidelines of your ex’s life."

Then, touching on Selena's post on social media shortly after the announcement, Sally concluded: "As the world focuses on Bieber’s news Gomez knows the world will then look for reaction. I'm pleased she has a hand to hold and love in her life. This is a tough one."
