Clad in aromatic cedar wood and beautifully furnished, the treehouse comes complete with a two-ring gas hob, microwave, fridge and Tassimo coffee maker. For fans of alfresco dining, there is a seated decking area that would be perfect for a BBQ.

A king-size bed awaits, decked in crisp cotton sheets and a snuggly blanket for chilly evenings, and the bathroom has a shower, with fluffy towels provided. Younger guests can access the loft room via a small ladder, to find a magical hideaway with a cosy mattress.

The treehouse can be booked at any time of year. Guests can relax on the furniture on the decking in the warmer months, taking in the incredible views or snuggle up on the comfortable sofa next to the wood burner when the temperature dips.

Overlooking Lost Field and Hawksden Wood and backing onto the woodland at Wadhurst Deer Park, Hoots has an unrivalled private location that feels a world away from it all.

Guests who have already experienced the magic of the treehouse perched above the Kent countryside, have had nothing but good things to say about it.

One review said "Perfect place for that special occasion, very remote, peaceful and quiet. Treehouse is very very comfortable with all the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy your time there."

A second added "What a magical place to stay, a very enjoyable getaway with nature surrounding you. Peaceful and beautiful would definitely come back for another stay."

A third guest who turned their stay into an unforgettable milestone said "The most perfect stay we’ve experienced. Me and my now fiancé got engaged in this beautiful treehouse!"

While there were no negative reviews, visitors should be aware that Hoots isn't suitable for everyone. The treehouse isn't large enough to sleep four adults, and it can only be accessed via a short wooden staircase.

For visitors to the region who would rather keep their feet on the ground Sykes Cottages has a wealth of cosy cottages available to rent in Kent, and beyond.
