Iced coffee is a summer staple for many, but it can be tough to make it like the coffee shops without a fancy machine at home.

There's nothing like an iced coffee because it keeps you caffeinated, cool, and tastes so good. Whether you take yours with vanilla syrup, coconut milk, or you prefer dairy, it doesn't matter, as one woman has got the perfect hack for a "frothy iced latte" - without the need for an expensive coffee machine.

Danielle, who posts on TikTok as @daniellemsands23, showed people how to make a "quick and easy iced latte" with a simple water bottle trick for the perfect level of froth. Danielle took a glass with a lid and straw that she'd bought from Home Bargains, some milk, syrup, coffee, and ice to make her drink.

She said the "trick" to get it "nice and frothy" is to "use a plastic bottle". First, she put some milk into the bottle, and then put instant coffee into the milk. Then she said she was going to put in the maple syrup to "give it a little bit of sweetness".

Then, she said all you need to do is "give it a really, really good shake" to make the concoction as frothy as possible.

Danielle then showed coffee-lovers that she'd put "ice and milk in the cup", and she was ready to pour the frothy coffee into the milk. She gave it "another shake", and then she poured the frothy mixture into the milk, and it looked as good as a coffee shop drink.

As she poured it in, she exclaimed: "Wow, look at that!". When Danielle tried it, she said it was "good".

In the comments, someone wrote: "Why did I never think of this?! Trying this next time I have an iced coffee." Danielle responded: "It's genius!! Works a treat. I always do it with my hot coffee to get a lovely foam on top! Saves bothering with any froth machine."

Another said it looked "yummy", and Danielle said: "I really need to get some caramel syrup!"
