Earlier this month, the reality starlet and SKIMS founder, 43, attended the iconic Met Gala. Kim could be seen strutting her stuff outside of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on the first Monday in May.

The theme of this year's Met Gala was Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, with Kim embracing the theme by wearing a silver John Galliano corset-style dress. The corset dress cinched her waist dramatically and left it looking even smaller and more svelte than usual.

"Are those lines from the Met Gala corset still???" one user asked. Another added "I was just wondering that. Surprised she didn’t edit out." A third then said: "You can see a corset/waist trainer indentation. Also, I am SHOCKED she didn’t photoshop out the skin hanging over the waistband."

After Kim's Met Gala appearance, body language expert Judi James exclusively told The Mirror: "If you’re going to wear a corset dress that cinches your waist to an unfeasible narrowness that would make an actual hourglass look chubby why throw a grey cardigan on over it that virtually hides it from view?"

She noted that Kim has shown before at the Met that she is "keen to suffer for her art, namely the all-covering black body stocking that might have made a trip to the loo require bolt-cutters and a sewing kit", but added: "This dress would appear to be making a different and even more vital bodily function challenging, i.e. breathing."

Judi went on: "Kim’s slightly guppy-style lip movement hints she might be struggling to pull in a proper lung-full of the heavily-perfumed air, as does her trait of leaning her shoulders forward as she poses for the cameras."
