A mum who was inspired by Michael Mosely to create a health guide has shared his 'brilliant' advice following the tragic death of the TV star on Sunday.

Writing on X, formerly Twitter, Hannah Hiles said the inspiration for the guide came from Dr Mosley's book Just One Thing, which reveals surprisingly simple tips that are scientifically proven to improve your health and change your life. Taking valuable lessons from the late doctor, a woman who attended a book club with Hannah's mum created a table filled with Dr Mosley's top health tips, including advice to 'sing loudly', 'dance' and 'count your blessings.'

Posting to X, Hannah shared an image of the guide and wrote: "My mum’s book group read @DrMichaelMosley’s Just One Thing recently and one of them produced this summary of his brilliant, sensible, achievable advice (that we could all benefit from following!) #MichaelMosley #RIPMichaelMosley." The post has so far been viewed 1.4million times and garnered over 14,000 likes.

It comes after the father-of-four was tragically found dead after going missing on the Greek island of Symi while on holiday. The presenter, known for his appearances on This Morning and BBC Radio 4's Just One Thing, had set off for a walk alone at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

Police launched a search for the 67-year-old after his wife noticed he had failed to return to their accommodation by 7.30pm. Following a gruelling five-day search, officers recovered Mosley's body from a stretch of rocky terrain by Agia Marina after it was spotted by a camera operator working for local television network ERT.

It was later found that the columnist and presenter died after sitting down and passing out in extreme 40C heat within shouting distance of help - a mere 50 yards away from sunbathers enjoying their holiday cocktails. A coroner in Rhodes reportedly confirmed that the medic died at 4pm on the day he went missing, while police added he died of "natural causes" with no foul play involved.

The devastating news of his death was confirmed by his wife, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley, as she paid tribute to her partner of four decades. She said: "I don’t know quite where to begin with this. It’s devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband.

"We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy together. I am incredibly proud of our children, their resilience and their support over the past few days. My family and I have been hugely comforted by the outpouring of love from people from around the world. It’s clear that Michael meant a huge amount to so many of you.

"We're taking comfort in the fact that he so very nearly made it. He did an incredible climb, took the wrong route and collapsed where he couldn't be easily seen by the extensive search team. Michael was an adventurous man, it's part of what made him so special. We are so grateful to the extraordinary people on Symi who have worked tirelessly to help find him."
