A WOMAN has left people gobsmacked after proudly showing off her foyer transformation, which trolls reckon she's going to regret.
Mum Dana, from Lake Michigan, the US, took to Instagram to share the entrance makeover - however, it was brutally savaged my vicious trolls who insisted she'd made a mistake.

But whilst the grand entrance might've been a dream for many homeowners, Dana was never really that fussed about it - and, in fact, insisted it wasn't practical during winter and summer.
''I never cared for the two-story space, as the scale of it always felt off (too narrow and high) and the style just didn’t match the rest of the house.
I'm a property expert - my guess for the cheapest time to buy a home this yearIt was also a heating and cooling nightmare.''
After complaining to a pal, the friend shared a suggestion - to turn the large space into a separate room; something Dana hadn't thought of before.
''We never even considered it a possibility to turn our 2-storey foyer into a single story with an additional room above it until a friend suggested it, and thank goodness she did because it turned out to be my favourite thing we did in the renovation,'' the home interior fanatic explained in a recent video.

''What was once wasted space is now an upstairs laundry room and the ceiling of the foyer is now level with the rest of the 9ft ceilings on the main floor.''
The once-red entrance, she proudly showed off in the clip, now boasts 3/4 Lite double doors, which she had opted for in a desperate attempt to ''make up for any lost natural light''.
The DIY-loving parent went on in the caption: ''I chose to stain the door darker to contrast the white oak hardwoods and love the way it complements the newel post, which is a very old very awesome find by my parents.''
The couple also did a walnut rail to match and Dana chose to go with wood balusters painted black, as she liked the contrast and the '“French” look of iron,'' but wanted the warmth of wood and the ability to paint them down the road'' if she ever chose to.
Although the family still are in the works of completing the home makeover fully, Dana was all chuffed with the current progress.
''We still have some tweaks to make but I love that the space feels the way it was always meant to be.''
Inside Camilla's £850k 'guilty pleasure' country pad - and Charles 'hates' itHowever, on social media, the overall sentiment appeared to be a little different, as hundreds flocked to comments to slam the transformation.
It seems that for the most part people preferred the original foyer look and wished Dana hadn't changed it.
One horrified person said: ''I gasped in a bad way.''
Another begged: ''Pls tell me it's just a prank.''
''Bro it was so beautiful before what the f**k is this s**t?'' someone else cried in horror.
''You took all the character away,'' a fourth penned.
