Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will still run their money-spinning media firm together despite announcing their split.

The pair co-own media firm Holmes & Away Ltd and documents posted at Companies House this month show they recently confirmed they will continue as co-directors of the firm for at least another year.

It comes after The Sun revealed that Ruth and Eamonn separated when she found messages between him and another woman on a laptop computer.

Her shock discovery six weeks ago led to the announcement that they were splitting up after 14 years of marriage.

But despite the turmoil, Ruth, 64, and Eamonn, also 64, have vowed to retain joint control of their lucrative media company.

They founded Holmes & Away Ltd in 2009 and it has handed over Corporation Tax payments of £164,000 over the last two years, meaning it raked in around £1million in that time.

The nature of the firm is described as 'radio broadcasting' company and Eamonn is listed as Managing Director, with Ruth as Operations Director.

Ruth also runs a media firm called Hey Ho Ltd in her own right and it is worth £2m, according to books filed this year.

Eamonn's own broadcasting company, Red, White & Green Ltd, meanwhile, has a far more modest bottom line of £18,000.

The now separated couple, who previously co-hosted This Morning, confirmed they will divorce last month.

A brief statement released through their reps read: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

It has since been revealed that Eamonn has become close friends with a blonde divorcee who is in her 40s and who works as a relationship counsellor.

The Belfast-born anchor has been on outings with her, including a trip to a safari park, and has showered her with gifts.

A photo has emerged of Eamonn at the safari park in February and it is thought the woman can be seen through the rear window of a vehicle.

It is understood the messages Ruth stumbled across were to and from the same blonde lady.

A source said: “Ruth was completely taken by surprise when she saw the messages.

"She had no idea what had been going on between them. She was devastated.

“Not only was she very upset but she was also angry.”

Broadcaster Eamonn has moved out of his and Ruth's marital home in Surrey.
