The Tweenies' Milo actor wowed his daughter when she found out he voiced the iconic character.
The kids TV show saw Tweenies Bella, Milo, Fizz and Jake take on many adventures. It was a hit programme that ran from 1999 until 2002 on CBeebies. Many children grew up watching the show, and is still replayed today. Actor Bob Golding played Milo in the hit series and now has a young daughter of his own.
His wife Nikki took to TikTok to share a sweet video of their daughter watching The Tweenies. The father and daughter danced along to the show, while Bob showed off his voice acting skills and recreated Milo singing along. Their clip was captioned: "My hubbie’s a tweenie… fan daughter 25 years later #thetweenies #tweenies #miliandmax #bobgolding #tweeniebob #kidstv ##fyp #foryoupage #milo #voiceactor #tweeniefan #nevergetsold."
Fans couldn't believe Milo had been unmasked as one said: "She wins life!! How’s your dad milo from the Tweenies." Another added: "I loved the Tweenies when I was younger." Someone else commented: "Milo was the BEST character aswell." A fourth wrote: "I grew up with my baby sister 8y younger watching the tweenies and ngl I'm mad jelly."
A fan shared: "Oh Tweenies was my everything at her age I had every bit of merch possible." Another urged: "Please thank him for making my childhood what is was!" One asked: "Is he actually or is he just really good at doing the voice???," to which his wife replied: "Haha, yes he was the voice of Milo and Max!"

I was the voice of Milo in the Tweenies. We first went on telly in 1999. Oh wow, that was nearly 22 years ago! Fab-oh-roony!" Before slipping into Milo's voice, Bob added: "I was also the voice of Max in the Tweenies.
"He spoke like, 'oh come on now Jakey - let's go in the garden and find Doodles." One curious fan asked how filming on the show worked as they believed it was "done in real time without voice overs." Bob explained the show was a "well oiled machine" and shared how the actors would record their voice clips first and then would control Milo's animatronic face moves
When asked about Doodles the dog, Bob revealed: "A very agile bloke called Alan Riley was literally on all fours in the costume with a heavy animatronic head." He also stunned fans by sharing that Mr Tumble star Justin Fletcher was the voice actor for Doodles. Bob admitted he thought he would only last one season as Milo and was delighted to stay until the show came to an end.
