Wayne Lineker has been knocked out by thugs after protecting a female friend in Ibiza.
The brother of football star, Gary, 62, collapsed in the street after being hit by the yob at 4am on the Spanish party island. In shocking video footage, Wayne, who is the co-owner of various establishments on Ibiza, including the famous O Beach Club in San Antonio, can be seen trying to hold his arm up to try to defend himself as the man rushes towards him outside Eden bar.
The club owner then slumps to the ground with onlookers saying that Wayne was unconscious for at least six minutes - and that he had blood pouring from his mouth.

They continued: "It was horrible - he looked like he could have been dead at one point. Wayne just fell on the floor and the man and his friends ran off. He was completely unconscious for about 20 minutes at least. He wasn't really speaking much when he did eventually come back round. I stayed to help him and the police turned up but they weren't there for long and didn't really do much and left quickly," reports The Sun.

On Tuesday, the dad-of-four posted a video to his Instagram of himself and the female friend at the centre of the row, toasting each other with glasses of champagne. He captioned the snap: "Bunny's back." The socialite also shared a post wishing a Happy Birthday to his son Freddie - along with a number of other Instagram stories.
Earlier this month, Wayne reached out to Manchester City's Jack Grealish after it emerged the footballer had been snubbed for the Euros 2024 by Gareth Southgate. Wayne told the Mirror that Southgate's loss could be Ocean Beach's gain as he said the midfielder was welcome to spend his summer at the iconic party venue instead of Germany after a strong reaction from fans.

Captioning the post, they penned: "BREAKING NEWS. Jack Grealish agrees 4-week loan deal to Ocean Beach – HERE WE GO." The post, which has since racked up almost 25,000 likes was soon flooded with hilarious comments, including one from Wayne. Speaking to the Mirror, the professional partier said: "Gareth’s loss is our gain. We love hosting Jack at O Beach Ibiza; he’s a great lad!"
