Kris Jenner details her tragic miscarriage and desperation to be a mum

Kris Jenner has opened up about her desperation to become a mum, revealing she tragically suffered a miscarriage before becoming pregnant with Kendall Jenner.

The 68-year-old shares four children with Robert Kardashian - Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob Kardashian - and two children with Caitlyn Jenner - Kendall and Kylie Jenner. However, she experienced a miscarriage just before welcoming her youngest two.

In the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kris disclosed that she experienced complications during her last two pregnancies. Despite this, she was determined to have Kylie as she wanted Kendall to have a sibling close in age.

During a confessional, Kris shared: "I had Kendall when I was 40 and I really wanted Kendall to have a sibling that was closer in age to her so I had Kylie when I was 41 and it wasn't easy. I got terrible gestational diabetes when I was pregnant with Kylie and with Kendall, I remember having a miscarriage right before so I was nervous the whole time."

Her revelations came after a meeting with daughter Khloe Kardashian and her friend Malika Haqq. Malika expressed her desire to become a mum again, having welcomed her first child Ace in March 2020 with ex-boyfriend OT Genasis.

However, Malika confessed she was unsure with the idea of using donor sperm and needed another solution after being single for five years. Kris empathised, saying: "I know what it must feel like to want a sibling for your baby because I always had that feeling deep down in my heart and my soul.

"And that's why I had six kids. You know, I had a baby at 23 and then every couple years I had a baby for a while and then I got married and had two more. So that was always my passion."

Khloe added: "And she was desperate for Kendall and Kylie. You tried to many times. And she had so many miscarriages." Kris tried comforting Malika as she said: "So I think I understand the desire."
