A WOMAN has revealed that she lives in a council house and takes extreme pride in her home.

The domestic cleaner who is based in Maidstone, Kent, and specialises in domestic work, garden maintenance, jet washing and gutter cleaning, confirmed that she is a traveller who thinks she was born in the wrong generation.

Showing off her jaw-dropping home on social media, the woman, who posts online under the business name ‘Nooks and Krannies Housekeeping’, left people stunned with her stylish home.

The woman proudly gave her followers a close-up look at her immaculate lounge, as she beamed: “When you take pride in your council house.” 

The room is complete with two large sofas, neatly dressed with a selection of cushions.

The walls are finished with a posh striped wallpaper, with large glass mirrors hanging from the walls.

There’s multiple bouquets of flowers, as well as a glamorous fireplace decorated with an array of gorgeous ornaments, and a beautiful chest of drawers. 

The woman explained that she loves buying bargains from charity shops and boot sales, and even makes her own items too. 

Proud of her unique decor, the woman shared: “I love everything old, [I was] born in the wrong generation I think.” 

She also revealed that she bought her sofas from DFS, her fireplace from eBay and her wallpaper from Homebase. 

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @nookskrannies, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 43,700 views.

Social media users were left stunned by the woman’s home and many took to the comments to express this. 

People described her home as ‘beautiful’ and ‘stunning’, whilst others commented on her decor style. 

One person said: “So beautiful and so homely.”

A third commented: “Attention to detail is amazing, love it, well done.” 

Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “I love EVERYTHING about this! This is exactly what I'd want if an interior designer was to do my home THIS is it! Absolutely stunning.” 

At the same time, one user wrote: “You can make anywhere a home if you spend money on it. I don't know why people live the way they do when homes are given to them. It looks lovely.”

In response, the DIY fan replied: “To be honest I haven’t spent too much here. I make everything myself and love a boot fair and charity shop.

“I’ve just got a bit of pride and look after my stuff.”

Meanwhile, someone else penned: “It's beautiful, but it looks too much like a show home and not lived in. Do you sit in there at all?”

To this, the woman responded: “Lay in there every night after dinner, look on my page you will see me tidying it up.” 

Not only this, but social media users were that impressed with the woman’s home that many requested she come and give theirs a makeover. 

One interior fan asked: “Can I hire you to give my gaff a makeover?” 

Whilst a second shared: “I would pay you to come design mine!!!”
