EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa revealed she thought about taking her children out of school due to the system being 'slightly outdated'.

The 31-year-old took to her Instagram Stories to share a clip of a discussion from the Mel Robbins podcast, where Mel discussed how sitting down for many hours every day could be bad for your health. Harvard Stress Doctor Dr Aditi Nerukar was a guest on the podcast and said: "The science shows that sitting... it's not just that exercise is good for you and moving is good for you and your stress, anxiety, and burnout. It's that sitting is actually bad for you," before diving into details.

Along with the clip, Jacqueline - who is known for playing Lauren Branning in EastEnders - shares nine-year-old Ella and five-year-old Mia with her husband Dan Osborne. Along with the clip, the actress wrote: "It's so crazy that we send our kids to school to sit for hours every day. When I see things like this I always toy with homeschooling. I just feel like the school system is slightly dated now and we all learn so differently."

Jacqueline went on to discuss the 'argument in her head', writing: "Obviously school is amazing and I have nothing but good positive memories and experience so it's always an argument I have in my own head all the time. Pros and cons etc. But like school is very similar to prison. That’s odd to me."

The star recently shut down split rumours about her and Dan by taking to social media to share a sweet post. Earlier this year, the couple took their children on holiday to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently. The family headed to Dubai and whilst they were away the city abroad experienced torrential rain and flooding.

Following the trip, Dan - who rose to fame on the Only Way is Essex - took to Instagram to post about the holiday. He shared a series of photos from their time abroad, including a photo of his wife alongside their children as well as Dan's son Teddy, 10.

He wrote in the accompanying caption over the weekend: "Lovely week in Dubai." Dan further commented in the post: "Mad we experienced that rain out there, floods were crazy, we were lucky, but hope everyone that was affected are ok." Jacqueline took to the comments section to express her gratitude towards her husband. She wrote in response to his post: "I love you. Thank you for the memories."
