THIS is the moment family and friends carried their friend’s coffin into his favourite football stadium to celebrate his life one final time.

A viral video shows the group singing songs and banging drums as they carry the coffin onto the stands as they forced the main entrance open.

The avid Junior de Barranquilla fan died after a motorbike accident on June 9.

His father, Joaquin Montalvo Polo, confirmed his death on social media.

He said: “Our son Jean David Montalvo Zuleta departed to the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.

“God, in his infinite mercy, welcomes him into his glory."

On the day of the funeral, the group detoured away from the cemetery procession to take the late-26-year-old barista to the stadium.

They then took Jean to his old seat in the south stand to celebrate his life one final time.

They also set flares off in honour of their fallen friend.

The fans had full access to the stadium, as no game was taking place at the time.

The video attracted comments from people who were either in awe or appalled by what they had seen.

One local said: "Junior fans at their best."

Another commented: "Do they think they own the stadium or what?"

Several others commented: "They probably don’t go to the stadium in real life but sneak in when the season ends

"What a horrible thing. Really."

A Celtic fan recently died in March after a "tragic incident" in Lisbon, earlier this year.

Family and friends remembered Thomas McAllister, 25, as a "lovely guy" in a touching tribute online.

One person wrote: "Aww Tam, what a boy. You will be so missed."

Another said: "No one should go to a match and never return."

A third added: "Rest easy Tam, such a lovely boy."

In April , tributes poured in for YouTube personality and Chelsea supporter Abhradeep Saha.

Better known as Angry Rantman, the football fanatic died at the age of 27.

The avid Chelsea fan was in a "critical situation" before his death, his family confirmed.

Saha burst onto the scene when he formed his YouTube channel six years ago.

Some of his viral videos criticising Chelsea made him a popular figure among the football fan community on social media.

Tributes flooded in for the YouTube superstar following the announcement of his death.

One person took to X to write: "RIP Abhradeep Saha, aka Angry Rantman.

"His rants were iconic to us all, but I think fewer people know just how kind and generous he was beyond his content.
