TEMPLEGATE returns to tackle the Tote Placepot at York on Saturday.
The Placepot is a bet where you select a horse to be placed in the FIRST SIX races of any meeting.

You can pick more than one horse in a race – you just multiply the number of selections in each race to calculate your stake. So for staking it’s 2x1x2x1x2x2 which adds up to 16 lines.
You can stake what you want upwards from 5p a line. 10p a line is £1.60 with our picks and so on.
Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP benefits from superstar Hollie Doyle getting the ride at NewcastleProvided at least one in each race is placed, we get a payout!

York Placepot tips for Saturday
LEG 1: Arrange, Piecederesistance
ARRANGE could be the answer to this tricky puzzle. She was fourth in a big field over course and distance last time and has had a little nudge down the weights which should help. This will take some getting in tacky ground and her staying power is an asset.
PIECEDERESISTANCE finished just ahead of the tip on the Knavesmire and he’s a contender again.
LEG 2: Woven, New Image
WOVEN likes to pick his way through the field but would have every chance if his luck’s in. He ran a good race here last time when finishing like a train over six furlongs. This longer trip will give him more time to get his head in front.
NEW IMAGE had plenty in the tank when winning at Musselburgh 14 days ago. The handicapper has been fair with a 4lb rise and this looks another good chance.

LEG 3: Real Dream, Relentless Voyager
REAL DREAM finished off strongly when second over 1m4f at Newmarket on comeback last time and this longer trip is right up his street. Sir Michael Stoute is in good form and all ground comes the same to this five-year-old.
RELENTLESS VOYAGER got the job done easily at Epsom on Derby day and looks dangerous stepping out of handicap company. Andrew Balding is flying and he looks the main danger.
LEG 4: Elmonjed, Woodhay Wonder
ELMONJED caught the eye when a close-up sixth here last when seven furlongs may have been on the stretching side. That was his first run for eight months so he should improve plenty for fitness and the first-time cheekpieces may help William Haggas’s runner who has top Irish pilot Chris Hayes in the saddle.
Horse racing tips: This 17-2 chance running over ideal trip is one of three place punts on MondayWOODHAY WONDER can do no wrong and extended his winning run to four – all at Newmarket – last time. Another 5lb rise in the weights shouldn’t stop him going close again.

LEG 5: U Sure Do
U SURE DO went down in a photo after charging home on debut at Haydock last time. He won’t have to improve much to get off the mark.
LEG 6: Mostawaa, Boy Douglas
MOSTAWAA didn’t show a lot in Dubai but did well over here last season and has winning form over this trip and track.
BOY DOUGLAS had a bit up his sleeve when winning at Ayr last time and has every chance from 3lb higher.
