As summer swiftly approaches, holiday plans are in full swing and for those opting for a staycation - there's no need to venture far for a fun-filled beach getaway.
Scarborough, an idyllic seaside town nestled amidst North Yorkshire, is well-renowned for its stunning coastline showcasing awe-inspiring views of the North Sea. It is free for those under 18 to visit and only costs £5 for adults to visit the Rotunda Museum and it also offers you admission to the Scarborough Art Gallery. However, no seaside holiday is complete without a visit to the beach, and Scarborough offers two stunning beaches named the North and South Bay.
South Bay Beach is best for a family day out as it was extremely popular during the Victorian era, and still offers similar attractions such as donkey rides and a bustling prom filled with activities.
