Bijou Phillips has moved on from Danny Masterson.

Nine months after filing for divorce from the convicted rapist, the Almost Famous star is seemingly enjoying life with an old friend. It was rumoured that Phillips was seeing businessman Jamie Mazur, but now the two appear to have set the record straight.

Pictures show the pair holding hands for a romantic stroll through Central Park in New York City, a week after they were seen leaving the Chateau Marmont Hotel in Los Angeles. Packing on the PDA, the two looked smitten as they stepped out on Thursday.

A source explained that the two have "run in the same social circles for many years" and first met through Phillip's friend Alessandra Ambrosio, who was engaged to Mazur for 10 years before they called it quits in 2018. The insider told UsWeekly that Jamie "reached out" after hearing about Masterson's sentence, seeing if Bijou was "doing ok".

The source said the pair's relationship is "very new". It comes after Phillips' ex-husband Danny was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the rape of two women. After several days of deliberation, a jury found the That 70s Show actor guilty of the crimes on May 31 last year. The assaults occurred in 2003; during which time he was actively filming the series. Masterson was also alleged to have raped a third woman. The jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision on the third allegation and the charges were dismissed.

The judge in the case said as she handed down the verdict: "Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here. Your actions 20 years ago took away another person's choice and voice. Your actions 20 years ago today were criminal, and that's why you are here." Originally, this case was ruled to be a mistrial in December 2022.

After the finalised May 31 conviction, the defence has asked for yet another new trial. The request was denied by Judge Charlaine Olmedo who heard impact statements from the two unnamed survivors before making the sentencing.

During the trial, Phillips stayed by her husband's side, and they were even seen leaving and entering the courtroom together. The two started dating in 2004, got engaged in 2009, and eventually married in 2011. It was reported at one point that she believed her 47-year-old husband was innocent. She was one of the many people who wrote letters of support to the judge ahead of the sentencing and called him an "amazing father".

Phillips seemed to have second thoughts after the trial, as she filed divorce papers from her husband of 12 years shortly after the sentencing was handed down. Masterson's That 70s Show co-stars Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis wrote letters of support for him.
