Insiders say Dan was left "embarrassed" after ending up on the ground.

"There was a bit of tension," admitted a source close to Tyrique.

Brushing off the dispute, Dan shared a snap from the dressing room on Instagram today writing: "What a night last night was."

Source close to Dan told The Sun: “Dan takes his football very seriously and gives it his all every time he steps on the pitch as the Sellebrity games mean a great deal to him.

“Things did get a bit heated with Tyrique, but the other lads on the field quickly calmed it down.

“There were no hard feelings after the final whistle and it was nothing more than a bit of footballing rivalry.”

The reality TV stars - who were playing for opposing teams - were seen being pulled apart as they continued to trade verbal blows.

Dan, 32, walked to confront Tyrique, 25, fellow Love Islander Toby Aromolaran - who was playing for Dan's side - jumped in to try to intervene.

Toby, who also featured on the Love Island's All Stars series, looked shocked at the clash as he tried to ward off any more trouble.

Former Towie hunk Dan's company, Prize Paradise, was one of the main sponsors of the Sellebrity charity football match at West Ham's London Stadium.

MAFS star Georges Bert and ex Hollyoaks hunk Gary Lucy were among the famous faces raising funds for the Matilda Foundation.

The games raise cash for different charities each week and have raised more than £1.5million to date.
