Here comes double trouble, and they're set to make you laugh.

The Polson brothers, twins from Swansea, Wales have become online sensations thanks to their humorous short clips comparing English and Welsh people.

Ashley and Andrew, 26, have captured the hearts of the nation by making scores of people chuckle at their witty take on cultural differences.

Appealing for their relatable content, the duo is currently riding a viral wave on social media. Interestingly, they almost quit the online game before they struck gold with these engaging TikTok videos.

With more than five years' worth of experience in creating content for the digital sphere, their early days revolved around fitness videos. However, they come to find this "boring", and decided to introduce some change.

They shared: "It got to a point where everyone was doing the same thing, and it was a bit boring. We were actually thinking about giving it up and we thought to ourselves 'do we want to do it anymore?'"

Inspired to create Welsh-oriented content, they drastically shifted their focus and began making fun videos highlighting the differences between the English and Welsh - always with a playful and non-offensive approach.

One of their clips named "Walking past someone in England vs Wales" amusingly portrays an "English" lad merely strolling past with his head down, as opposed to a Welsh bloke who stops for extensive fast-paced chatter.

A viral clip titled "Speaking to someone with their headphones on in England vs Wales" has been tickling viewers, showcasing the stark contrast between the two nations. The video featuring a neighbourly request to move a car had audiences in stitches, particularly due to the Welsh character's eagerness to toss his belongings into his neighbour's skip.

Meanwhile, the sketch "getting a taxi in England vs Wales" also sparked laughter, with the Welsh passenger engaging in banter with the driver and admitting he'd have to hoof it part of the way as he was short on cab fare.

On the flip side, the English counterpart is portrayed as reserved, sitting quietly in the back seat.

While the videos need to be seen to really understand them, they're crafted with the aim of spreading cheer through playful stereotypes. The creators believe the Welsh are perceived differently because of their close-knit community culture where everyone knows each other.

They clarified: "It's never nasty. It's not calling people out - it's just how it is.

"We have friends there (in England), and know people there. We get messages from people in the North saying 'we know people like that', and the Scottish saying they are the same. A lot of people say they relate to it."

Emphasising their intent, they said, "We're not being nasty - we're just showing what we're like. We have such a good laugh in Wales, and we wanted to show that."

Their content is clearly relatable, as their channels exploded when they began posting Welsh-inspired videos. One video changed everything overnight, attracting thousands of viewers.

"Suddenly everything blew up - we couldn't believe the reaction we were getting," they shared.

"When we were thinking about what sort of content we like to watch in videos, we thought we just like a laugh, so we decided to make people laugh."

What makes their content so relatable is that the characters they portray are real. From the chatty neighbour to the stereotypical Welsh mam to the Welsh man abroad - they bring familiar faces to life.

They say the best writing comes from experience, and these lads are proving it in spades.

"They're characters - they are all based on people we know," they added. "It's all us, it's ourselves on camera.

"It's just what we think about growing up. That's what people were like."

"So many people from Wales are loving it. A lot of Welsh people living in London love it. They say they miss home, and it makes them think about it."
