Reddit user Cinnamon-toast-life shared in a post a product that made a big difference in her skincare regimen.

Although many people have a variety of "fancy sunscreens" they like to recommend, she said there is one she prefers above all else.

She said she likes to use "tear/sting-free" sunscreen marketed for children and babies.

"I slather my kids and me in it and they never complain of stingy eyes, even going in and out of the ocean and getting all sweaty and grubby," she explained.

"I discovered that this category exists after having kids and it was life-changing!" she added.

Just make sure to always get SPF 50+ type that is fragrance-free.

The go-to that she found works well is the standard Banana Boat Kids Sunscreen, $12.98 on Amazon.

The tear-free, gentle formula provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection and is usually water-resistant.

She applies it on her face, especially around her eyes, as an anti-aging aid.

She said that it didn’t give her a terrible white cast, which is a common concern for many.

"Though I am fair-skinned, so your mileage may vary," she joked.

She added that the SPF rubs in easily enough, and doesn’t break her face out.

She recommended another option as a safe alternative.

"Neutrogena Baby is good too but a bit pricier for the quantity I need in a beach town," she said.

Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50 currently retails for less than $20 at Walmart.

The Reddit user's sun protection methods don't just stop with the products she uses.

She also wears sunglasses that cover her eye area whenever she is outside.

"I never go in the sun without sunglasses," she said.

Her choice of shades is the Ray-Ban Way Fairer style because they are
"the real deal" and cover that area easily.

"I have lived at the beach my entire life so good sun protection is a must!" she explained.

"Oh thank you for this! I am gonna get me some Banana Boat," another Redditor commented.

"I was using Neutrogena for sensitive skin and it dripped into my eye during the course of the day. It was horrible."

The original poster completely agreed and understood where she was coming from.

"Right?! I am like, 'Why isn’t all sunscreen tear/sting-free if this technology exists?!'"
