Peter Andre screamed in terror and held on for dear life as his teenage daughter Princess reached a major milestone this week.
The 51-year-old shared a clip of himself in a car as his 16-year-old – who turns 17 at the end of June - sat in the driving seat. As she rolled her eyes at her famous dad, Pete captioned the video: “POV: When your daughter’s about to get her licence.”
He then asked his 1.9 million followers: “Anyone else got a 17 year old that’s about to drive for the first time? God help us!” Fans were quick to comment underneath with one saying: “Lol I remember it well!” Another wrote: “Mine are both now in their twenties and boy do I remember that sheer panic you are feeling right now.”
A third shared: “Yep mine passed last week. He bought a car the next day and was on the M25 a couple of days later. Terrifying.” A fourth commented: “Yep an 18 year old it’s very scary but upside is she’ll be able to drive you around everywhere. No more dad taxi!” While a fifth joked: “I’m still like that and my daughter’s 29!!! It doesn’t get easier.”
Others pointed out that although Princess wasn’t driving when they filmed the joke clip, she had her phone on her lap. One follower warned: “Make sure she doesn’t use her phone while she’s driving because she’s got it on her lap.” Another said: “If you get caught with it on your lap it’s points now. Those new cameras aim at your lap!”

But most fans realised the video was a joke and the car was stationary when they filmed the clip. One said: “Why can’t it be? She’s not driving, they’re just doing a video.” Another chimed in: “Cos she’s not actually about to drive yet, just playing the part for the video.” “Think they’re safe... just parked on a drive lol,” as another moaned: “There’s always one!”

Junior has just turned 19 and celebrated with his new girlfriend (Instagram)Under UK rules, you must be 17 and have a provisional licence to be able to take driving lessons – so Princess will have to wait another two weeks before she can get behind the wheel of a car for real, with an instructor at her side of course.
And the Andre kids are certainly growing up, as Princess’ older brother Junior turned 19 this week. The aspiring singer, who has followed in his father’s footsteps, celebrated with a romantic date night with new girlfriend Jasmine Orr, .
Jasmine, 23, previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating and was briefly involved with Love Island star Adam Collard. But while it didn’t work out with Adam, who is now dating Laura Woods, it looks like Jasmine has finally found love with Junior – with a source saying Junior is “smitten”.
Sharing a photo of himself kissing Jasmine's cheek, Junior captioned the sweet post: "It’s my Birthday!! Wouldn’t want to spend it any other way," along with a heart emoji. At the end of April, Junior teased having a girlfriend during a Q&A session with his fans on Instagram. One curious fan asked: "Snog, marry or avoid - Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner & ." Junior read the question aloud and slyly answered: "None. Why? Cause I've got a good girl at home."
