ENGLAND cannot win Euro 2024 with Jordan Pickford, claims former Premier League star Dietmar Hamann.
Pickford has been England's No1 for several years and is set to break the record for most appearances made by an England goalkeeper at major tournaments.

Hamann said on the In The Zone podcast: "My worry would be Jordan Pickford.
"He's a good keeper, but I think his temperament lets him down at times.

"I think Pickford does the opposite and this is where I've got my worries and question marks. I don't think England win a big title with Pickford."
Pickford, 30, has been ever present since Gareth Southgate took charge and has won 61 caps for the Three Lions.
He was the hero in the World Cup penalty shoot-out victory over Colombia in 2018 and has not missed a major tournament game under Southgate.
Former England No1 Joe Hart was full of praise for Pickford, suggesting he is "loved" by fans for his "exceptional" performances.

Hart said: “It’s about trust. Jordan’s been exceptional for England, he really has.
“I could go into the technicalities and things but the biggest compliment that could be paid is that the England manager trusts him, the England team trust him.
“As a goalkeeper, that’s an incredible feeling and it’s one that’s not given out easily, it really isn’t.

“And Jordan is trusted by the fans as well, which is important for this England team. You want to feel liked, you want to feel loved. And I think he fully deserves that label.”
