Sophie Turner has admitted her divorce from Joe Jonas lead to "the worst few days of my life".
The Game of Thrones star, 28 and Jonas Brothers singer, 34, who share two kids, stunned the world when they announced that they were divorcing in September 2023.
Following the furore, Sophie has now spoken out about the media storm surrounding the split, as she admitted she struggled immensely with "mom guilt" while trying to keep her private life private.
Speaking about her split with the singer, who is now said to have moved on with model, Stormi Bree, she said: "I mean, those were the worst few days of my life. There were some days that I didn’t know if I was going to make it.
"And then, finally, after two weeks of me being in a rut, she [my lawyer] reminded me that it was my children I was fighting for. Once anyone says to me, 'Do it for your kids,' I’m doing it. I wouldn’t do it for myself, but I’ll find the strength for them," reports Vogue.

Speaking about being apart from her children, Sophie continued: "I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out…"
It had been claimed that Joe "realised" the marriage was over after he allegedly caught Sophie saying or doing something on a ring camera. It was reportedly the 'last straw' for the Jonas Brother member in his apparent decision to file for divorce.
Speculation about the pair has included that they allegedly "disagreed on a lot of things". It was also reported that the marriage was described as "irretrievably broken" in divorce paperwork.
Following news of the couple's split, Sophie also had to deal with claims she had been unfaithful or that her marriage had broken down because she was partying too much. Addressing the rumours, she told Vogue: "It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother – mom guilt is so real."
The actress continued: "I just kept having to say to myself, "None of this is true. You are a good mom and you’ve never been a partier."
