We are of course talking about Sir Paul McCartney, undoubtedly one of the most defining UK musicians ever.

He will be performing two dates at Co-Op Live in Manchester, and two dates at London's O2 Arena this December, with tickets available from this Friday at 10am.

The 81-year-old first found fame in The Beatles alongside John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison, who formed in Liverpool back in 1960 and remain to this day one of the most beloved bands of all time.

Their success triggered the unmatched "Beatlemania" which saw them become heartthrobs across the globe.

Paul has since become one of the greatest selling artists of all time across the globe, spanning music genres from pop to psychadelic rock.

He officially became Sir Paul McCartney after being knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 1997.

The Paul McCartney Got Back live tour will see him perform some of hit biggest hits from The Beatles, Wings and his solo career.

The new dates will be McCartney's first shows in the UK since Glastonbury back in 2022 - where he celebrated his 500th show with his band.

He also hasn't performed in London since 2018, and Manchester since 2021.

His tracklist will include songs like Hey Jude, Live And Let Die, Band On The Run, Let It Be and many more.

He will be joined by his longtime bandmembers Paul “Wix” Wickens (keyboards), Brian Ray (bass/guitar), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (drums)

The Got Back Tour also features the Hot City Horns - formed of Mike Davis on trumpet, Kemji Fenton on sax, and Paul Burton on trombone.
