AN INFLUENCER was slapped with a hefty £1,600 fine after setting foot in an off-limits pink beach during a foreign jaunt.
The Dubai-based Brazilian content creator whisked past prohibition signs and frolicked on Spiaggia Rosa's shoreline on the uninhabited Sardinian island of Budelli.
Posting on her Instagram handle @Rogeriaguiadubai, the influencer then reportedly posted a cluster of clips and images to her 35,000 followers during her escapade on the beach - famed for its eye-catching pink sand.
Tourists have been banned from the picturesque spot since the 1990s, however visitors can take in the views from a path behind the beach.
In one of the clips, the content creator zooms in on her footprints accompanied by Édith Piaf’s La Vie en rose.

The shameless exploits prompted coastguard cops to chase down the Brazilian.
She was swiftly slapped with the eye-watering fee - largely for docking on an unauthorised vessel.
For over three decades, the island was home to Mauro Morandi - dubbed Italy's Robinson Crusoe.
The intrepid adventurer settled on the island of Budelli in 1989 after giving up his job as a PE teacher.
After he washed up on the island off northern Sardinia Mr Morandi learned that the caretaker was retiring from his post, so he sold his catamaran and took on the role.
In 2020 the president of La Maddalena's National Park, Fabrizio Fonnesu, told CNN that Mr Morandi had carried out illegal alterations to his hut.
In the past the Italian has described himself as a "bit of a rebel."
Despite a petition calling on the authorities to allow him to stay, it now appears that Mr Morandi is set to move on.
Speaking to The Guardian he said that he planned to relocate to the nearby island of La Maddalena. He added: "My life won't change too much, I'll still see the sea."

Elsewhere, a traveller was banned from boarding their flight over a viral packing hack.
The trick, which has been hailed on social media for its inventiveness, didn't turn out to be such a smart move.
According to TikTok users, the packing 'tip' involves hiding clothes in a pillow case to prevent you having to pay for an extra carry on bag.
It was thought that because a pillow is taken on as a comfort item, it wouldn't count as baggage.
But, a traveller using the 'pillow case hack' was stopped by airport security - and officials resorted to calling the cops.
The chaotic scene appeared to unfold in Orlando International Airport at gate 17.
Fellow traveller Natasha posted the ordeal on Tiktok.
The clip, shared on her platform @natashaorganic, amassed hundreds of thousands of views and likes.
She said: "Stop letting social media give you tips and tricks because sometimes it's not gonna work.
"This dude was trying to take in a pillowcase full of clothing and other items which he is stating was simply just a pillowcase and the dude was was like bro, everybody can see it's not a freaking pillow, like come on."
