Ant McPartlin hasn't given work a second thought since he welcomed his first child with wife Anne-Marie Corbett.
New dad Ant ‘isn’t thinking about TV’ after his ‘magical’ baby news earlier this week. The loved-up couple, who tied the knot back in 2021, stunned their followers and fans around the world after announcing the arrival on Instagram after deciding not to announce their pregnancy publicly.
Anne-Marie, 46, gave birth to a little baby boy and sharing a sweet black and white photo of Ant holding their newborn son, the proud parents also announced their tot's name in the caption of the adorable post as they wrote: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess."
It won't come as a surprise then that little else matters to the busy telly star."Ant and Amzie are in a magical place right now, in their own little loved-up bubble," a friend of the pair is said to have told The Sun. "He's not even thinking about TV work at the moment, he's just loving life - and it's so great to see."
Of course, it wasn't long before Ant's famous friends flocked to share their congratulations. His fellow TV presenter, Davina McCall, penned: "Arggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!! This is AMAZING !!!! Congratulations to ALL of you." First Dates star Fred Sirieix wrote: "Congrats." Ashley Banjo added: "Congrats guys," while Joel Dommett chimed in: "I LOVE THIS."

Ant's former personal assistant Anne-Marie, already has two children from a previous relationship, but now she and Ant are have become parents together. Many fans noticed Ant's tattoo, which on display in the birth announcement and featured a tree with names between the leaves.

One fan said: "His 2 step daughters, and I'm assuming Amzie may be a nickname for his wife, Ann Marie?" Another added: "It's Bumble, one of his dogs." Someone else commented: "Amzie is his wife, poppy and daisy are his stepdaughters and bumble is his dog."
Not everyone is over the moon. Lisa Armstrong 's close friend has called out her ex-husband for the heartbreaking way she found out he had become a dad. Lisa, 47, took to her own Instagram page to share a post about an ongoing "battle". The quote read: "Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you've fought, the moments you've had to humble yourself, the times you've wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength."
Ant and Lisa called time on their relationship six years ago, in 2018. The reason she was left so heartbroken about hearing Ant's baby news, was reportedly due to the fact that she had to find out in the press. Speaking to The Mail, the source claims that Ant never informed Lisa of his life-changing news, and it was an even bigger blow due to the fact he and Lisa were reportedly getting on at the time, having tried to put their tumultuous past behind them.
