Months after confirming he would be leaving Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp's final stand at Anfield will become reality on Sunday.

The outgoing Reds chief will be serenaded one final time by the Kop when Liverpool round off their Premier League campaign against Wolves. And emotions will be running high as Klopp, at the helm for just shy of nine years, signs off for good.

Feyenoord head coach Arne Slot is the man who has been chosen by the Liverpool hierarchy to lead the club into a new era and it's understood that a deal for the Dutchman is all but done. But this weekend, for one final time, it's all about Klopp.

Here, Mirror Football rounds up all the latest news from in and around Anfield as Klopp prepares to take charge for the final time...

Leiva on Klopp impact

Former Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva has waxed lyrical about the impact Jurgen Klopp has made since walking through the door at Anfield.

Klopp was one of Europe's most sought-after coaches after impressing at Borussia Dortmund when he was confirmed as Reds manager back in October 2015. He has gone on to have a transformative effect, turning the club back into a force both domestically and in Europe.

And Leiva, who played under Klopp for the best part of two seasons, has been reminiscing about the German's arrival ahead of his big farewell this weekend.

Slot's take on replacing Klopp

Incoming Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has insisted he will be under no more pressure at Anfield next season than he would be at Feyenoord.

Slot is expected to be announced as Klopp's successor in the coming weeks and has made no secret of his desire to swap the Eredivisie for the Premier League.

And while some have warned that the job will carry significantly more pressure than his current role, Slot is not of the same opinion.

Caulker searching for new club

Former Liverpool defender Steven Caulker has shared a post on LinkedIn outlining his search for a new club - and a new role.

The centre-half, 32, spent time on loan at Anfield during the 2015/16 campaign and has played for a host of other Premier League clubs including Tottenham, Cardiff City and Southampton.

Caulker is currently unattached after leaving Malaga City, a Spanish fifth-tier outfit and is hopeful of finding a coaching role ahead of the new season.
