DARWIN NUNEZ has fueled speculation over his Liverpool future as fans spotted his reaction to Jurgen Klopp's guard of honour.

The German manager was hailed by the team and fans after his final game in charge.

Klopp, 56, made his way through a guard of honour after beating Wolves 2-0.

He was applauded by the crowd and players, except for Nunez, who resisted the opportunity.

The Uruguayan striker even had another chance to clap Klopp as the German went through the guard a second time.

However, he still rejected the chance and kept his arms by his sides.

Eagle-eye fans have spotted the moment on social media.

One posted: "Every player clapped Klopp during his Guard of honour. Every player, except one🌚 Guess who?"

A second commented: "Footage has emerged of Darwin Nunez failing to clap Klopp in his guard of honour. He was also seemingly the only player not to clap for Klopp in his final team meeting yesterday. That’s really not a good look."

A third wrote: "It seems his relationship with Liverpool is over. Already transfer listed."

A fourth joked: "He probably missed the point when they said everyone should clap."

A fifth said: "Notice how he’s hiding behind diaz when the cameras go past him."

Another added: "He's leaving the club for sure, it looks like everything is over between him and the club."

Body language expert Darren Stanton has suggested that there is "no love lost" between Klopp and Nunez after watching the clip.

He told OLBG: "Darwin Nunez definitely displays non-compliance behaviour, which means the person wants to be separate from the ongoing moment, which is congratulating Jurgen Klopp.

"It looks like there’s no love lost between them, so to speak, and obviously, the action to not clap for Klopp is proportionate to how he feels inside.

"I think we can all see there is a definite issue between the player and manager, the one way to show your displeasure is by not participating with the rest of the team.

"There is a definite cold shoulder being shown to Klopp, but I can’t identify any more behaviours due to the camera being too far away from Nunez."

It comes after the striker cleared his social media accounts of all Liverpool-related images.

SunSport reported earlier this month that Barcelona were preparing a move for the former Benfica star.

Nunez would arrive at the LaLia giants as the replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
