Former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona could be forced to face up to empty nest syndrome sooner rather than later, as the star revealed her second eldest daughter Lilly, who she shares with ex Bryan McFadden, is ready to ‘quit the UK’
In her regular column, mum of five Kerry said: "Lilly is looking for a fresh start so has decided she’s going to move over to Ireland to live with her grandparents on her dad’s side. I think it’s a good thing because she’s 21 so it’ll be nice for her to stand on her own two feet, she rules the roost at our house,” reports
"Heidi has been doing her GCSEs at the moment and I’m so proud of her. She’s going to drama school once she’s finished and honestly is so talented. It makes me emotional that DJ is going to be the only one left in school.”

She previously told the publication about her decision, while also revealing she had put her dreams of moving to Marbella on hold with partner Ryan.

Kerry had originally had her heart set on the idea of moving to the holiday destination, but after hearing reports of shootings in the area, decided to reconsider her plans as she wasn’t sure "if it’s the best place for our family to move to.”
For now, the star intends to stay in England and has already been viewing houses with a view to downsize to a smaller property once her daughter Heidi goes to college. In the midst of looking for a cosier abode, Kerry also said she was determined to declutter her life, as it would be vital to “get rid of all the junk” she’d accumulated in her family home before moving to a smaller home.

Kerry had originally planned to move to Marbella with partner Ryan, but recently decided to remain in the UKAdding that she was at the point in her life where she wanted to embrace “minimalism” the star did acknowledge that it was easier said than done, as she confessed to finding it “difficult” to part with so many possessions after having grown up without many as a child.
“I grew up not having a lot, so I get attached to things that bring me joy and create memories – plus, I’m the worst when it comes to clothes, because my weight goes up and down. I’m grateful for everything I have, but the bin bags are coming out and I’ll donate a lot to charity,” she candidly confessed.
The star even cheekily suggested she should ask her pal Stacey Solomon to “Sort her life out” following the success of her BBC decluttering show, Sort Your Life Out!
