BBC BREAKFAST viewers were left raging at Jon Kay as they ripped into his 'car crash' interview.
The 54-year-old was back hosting the flagship programme alongside Sally Nugent.

It got off to a rocky start as Jon immediately called out how inflation had dropped to 2.3%.
He said: "It begins with a two but it's not quite two per cent, you're a bit above it. Are you slightly disappointed this morning that you're still not back at your target?"

The interview continued between the two men as Sally, 52, remained silent in the studio.
But fans at home were left polarised by the interview and took to social media to swipe at Jon while other's praised the Beeb host.
One said: "Jon having no messing this morning #BBCBreakfast."
A second wrote: "Dear Jon Kay. Calling Jeremy Hunt, Kwasi Kwarteng 2.0. How could you ? #BBCBreakfast #GMB."
"John Kay is an absolute disgrace! Fantastic economic numbers and he is being totally negative and focusing on liz truss," said a third.
While a fourth commented: "There you have it... the reason that you rarely get a straight talking politician on TV. Low grade interviews that are designed to set traps more than extract useful information. @BBCBreakfast not every interview is Frost - Nixon.."
Meanwhile, BBC Breakfast fans were recently left seriously distracted by Jon's 'new look'.
It was noted Jon typically wore a dark-coloured suit, round-rimmed glasses and had short hair.
However, in outfit shake-up he wore a dapper tan-coloured jacket with matching trousers.
