KIT Harington has taken on a completely different character than he played in Game of Thrones as he tackles season three of Industry.

The BBC drama showcases what it took to make it in the world of finance after the recession in 2008.

Kit is joining a star-studded cast as Lumi CEO and British aristocrat Lord Henry Muck.

He runs a green energy tech company that is about to go public during the third series of the show.

The role has him looking sharp in a business suit, which is a far cry from the makeshift animal fur coats he used to wear as wild King of the North on GOT.

The show was dubbed the 'new Mad Men' by viewers, but with an insider view into the banking world instead of advertising.

It quickly gained a reputation as one of the UK's steamiest shows – largely due to leading lady Marisa Abela, who plays sex siren Yasmin Kara-Hanai in the drama.

Industry follows graduate recruits at a London investment bank who have six months to prove themselves before half of them are fired.

Six-figure bonuses, cocaine habits and big egos are all put on display as the show examines issues of gender, race, class, and privilege in the workplace.

Actress Myha'la Herrold previously spoke about the series being renewed for a third season, telling fans: "Y'all did this... Thank you so much for watching our show and sending us so much love.

"I can't wait to bring you more @industryhbo. Season three is coming!"

Eight new episodes will be available to stream on BBC One and iPlayer later this year.

Cast members returning to reprise their roles include Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji.

The new season will see international bank Pierpoint & Co going into business with old money and investing in ethical company Lumi, which is run by Lord Henry Muck (Kit Harington).

Meanwhile, Harper (Myha’la) has struck out on her own, and will find a new partner in FutureDawn portfolio manager Petra Koenig (Sarah Goldberg).
