Ben Affleck could relapse due to 'divorce stress', fears ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
The Hollywood actor and his Jenny from the Block hitmaker wife, Jennifer Lopez, are currently surrounded by separation rumours. It's thought the pair's romance is on "shaky ground" after just two years of marriage, according to insiders.
Now sources are saying Jennifer has turned to her husband's ex over fears he'll break his sobriety because of stress. Garner was recently photographed visiting the $100,000-a-month in Brentwood Ben has reportedly been staying at in recent weeks.

"JLo has been confiding in Jen because she knows that she is one of the only people in the world who would understand what she is going through," an insider told MailOnline. "She has been through it with the same man herself and although the circumstances were quite different it is still the same man and they both dealt with some of the same issues." Garner was snapped leaving Affleck's sprawling mansion on Sunday.
Jermain Defoe sparks marriage split fear after spending Christmas away from wifeSources say she wants to help 'save their marriage', with the insider adding: "Jen does not want Ben to pull the plug on this marriage because she really does care about J.Lo. She did go to his house to talk to him about this and to try and keep the two of them together. J.Lo was told several times by Jen how valued she is in all their lives."
"She is one of the only women who can get through to Ben and keep him from jumping off the deep end with his addiction," they added. "The biggest fear right now is that he will start drinking again and part of the reason Jen has been keeping tabs on him is to make sure this doesn't happen," the source claimed, speaking on Ben's sobriety.
Ben is now believed to have moved out of the family home. A source has said the Gone Girl actor would welcome a divorce from J.Lo, saying: "If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would." Speaking to Page Six, the source added: "He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he's come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work."
The comments come a week after split rumours first surfaced. The speculation started with claims Ben has "moved out" of the family home. A source told InTouch magazine: "The writing is on the wall - it's over. They’re headed for a divorce - and for once, [Ben's] not to blame! They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted."
J.Lo then added fuel to the fire when she liked a post on Instagram about unhealthy relationships and poor communication. The post explained how "you cannot build a healthy relationship with somebody" who "lacks integrity and emotional safety".
