Do you have DD+ boobs and struggle to find clothes that fit? We're here to help.

It's completely free to upload clothes to the app and Vinted does not take a cut of sellers' profits and instead charges buyers a small fee to purchase each item.

Bibi-Jane Angelica took to social media to reveal how she makes cash on the site.

Photos

The Vinted pro revealed that it is important to include photographs of you wearing the clothes, and also photos of both the back and the front of the item.

This way buyers are more likely to purchase the clothes as they will have a better idea of what the item looks like when worn.

Description

Bibi-Jane shared that there four thing she always includes in the descriptions of her items.

These are:

  1. The height of the person modelling the clothes (i.e you)
  2. What size you normally wear
  3. The line "message me if you have any questions
  4. A note saying "my bundle discount is on."

Bumping

Bibi-Jane revealed that you should never bump items as soon as you have listed them.

"Bumping" means paying to have your clothes appear higher up in the Vinted search feed.

"Only bump items once they already have some views and favourites", she said.

This is because, when you first list your items, they will appear at the top of the search feed anyway, as Vinted lists clothes in order of when they were listed, so bumping would be a waste of money.

Bibi-Jane's video, which was posted under the username @bibijangelica, has likely left many feeling impressed, as it has racked up over 226,000 views on the video sharing platform.

Online marketplaces like Vinted and Depop have millions of users across the UK, with the cost-of-living crisis only increasing their popularity.

Financial pressures in British homes saw sales of second-hand goods jump by 15 per cent to £21 billion in 2022.
One in six people now say they buy used items, according to research commissioned by review site Trustpilot.

So, now’s the perfect time to make yourself some extra cash on the likes of Vinted.

According to the popular platform, sellers do not have to pay tax on earnings they make from the site.

This, HMRC stated, is because selling personal items through platforms like Vinted is not itself taxable.

''If the money a member makes on Vinted over a year is less than the amount they paid for the items they are selling, then there is no tax to pay,'' a Vinted spokesperson explained.

''Generally, only business sellers "trading" for profit might need to pay tax.

"A tax-free allowance of £1,000 has been in place since 2017 for people who trade for profit.''
