Alec Baldwin and wife Hilaria were slammed by fans after they shared a Father's Day post where their 10-year-old daughter was wearing makeup.
The Hollywood star took to his Instagram to mark the special day by sharing a series of snaps of his children. He shares Carmen, 10, Rafael, eight, Leonardo, seven, Romeo, six, Eduardo, three, Lucia, three, and Ilaria, one, with Hilaria who he married in 2012.
Alec is also dad to daughter Ireland, 28, who he shares with his ex, Kim Basinger. He captioned the post: "Happy Father's Day to the dads out there." In the second image Carmen could be seen holding one of her younger siblings while wearing mascara and lip gloss.

One follower asked: "Why does a 10 year old wear makeup?" A second echoed: "Why is she wearing makeup?" adding an eye rolling emoji.
More fans joined the debate as a third wrote: "Looks older than 10!!" A fourth social media user then jumped to their defence as they pointed out: "My grandkids love to wear makeup and it is just fun." A fifth shared: "Who cares about her makeup?! #judgykarens."
Another fan jumped to support Alec and Hilaria posting: "Beautiful family. My 8 yr old granddaughter loves playing with makeup and we let her! What's the big deal! So shut your negative mouths and move on."
Later in the day Alec also shared a tribute to Ireland as he posted a photo of her with her musician boyfriend RAC (Andre Allen Anjos) and their daughter, Holland, one. He wrote: "Thank you to this group for the lovely Father's Day wishes. Love you all."

Hilaria also paid tribute to her husband as she celebrated his role as a dad by taking to her own Instagram page.
She uploaded a clip of some of their children waking him up from a nap as she captioned the post: "Happy Father's Day!!! Accidentally let the kids into the room he was napping in (yet it was so circus epic that I stayed to film)….hope all you other dads got to finish your naps. Much love papas."
Earlier this month Alec and Hilaria announced that they would be debuting their own reality TV show in 2025. A press release for the show described the concept: "Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have been making headlines since they were married nearly 12 years ago.
"In this TLC follow-doc series, Alec and Hilaria invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids. For the first time, they're opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the non-stop love, laughter and drama."
