Newest deal has made the flagship Apple model a lot more affordable, and there's no scrimping on data

Apple's looming iOS 18 software is another added reason tech shoppers may be swayed towards the flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max, the biggest model from the iPhone 15 range. Now a new deal will get users a much cheaper price, with an unlimited amount of data that works out at £10 per month.

Yes, that's an unlimited amount of data to scroll on as many social media apps, download music, or binge-watch your favourite Netflix show along with UK calls and texts, for a price cheaper than the usual cheap pick at SMARTY. Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro Max phone is thrown in for the same price as the Apple Store.

Available from £1,199 at Apple, those who pick the flagship tech brand will pay that price (upfront) for only the device, leaving shoppers a pretty hefty feat to find an adjacent mobile data plan. The newest £59 per month Vodafone plan not only splits the cost of the swanky Pro Max model into more affordable payments but data is included too.

The deal can be found at CarphoneWarehouse, on the Ultrafast 5G Vodafone plan. Users will lock into paying £59 per month for 24 months, along with an upfront fee of £29 - that's a total cost of £1,445. It doesn't take long to notice that this is £246 more than Apple's device-only price but when you add up the additional data cost it comes to an extra tenner per month...for an unlimited amount of data, calls and texts.

To put it simply, it's a crucial part of a phone plan that Apple doesn't offer to shoppers to add on, often leaving consumers scouring for the cheapest monthly airtime deal to go with their phone. Usually, provider SMARTY is a chosen go-to, but the Vodafone contract actually beats its usually cheapest price by £8 per month.

SMARTY is currently offering a £18 Unlimited data SIM which comes with calls and texts, which has been reduced from £20 per month. If iPhone 15 Pro Max shoppers bought the device separately for £1,199 and then opted for this pay-as-you-go SIM it'd work out at an extra £432, which is a lot more than the Vodafone cost.

Of course, its given perk of SMARTY is having the added flexibility of a 30-month rolling contract, whereas Vodafone users will be tied into the fixed 24-month plan, not to mention that it gives a nod to the annual April price hikes. This is where prices rise due to inflation, despite customers locking into a contract: "Monthly price (including out of bundle charges for Vodafone) will increase every April by the Consumer Price Index rate of inflation + 3.9%", definitely something shoppers will want to be aware of.

Onto other rival retailers, Sky Mobile is currently offering half price data deals on its data plans. Also in the sale rail is the rival Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, the budget version which is now £20 per month on a 36-month contract.
