Finn Tapp has appeared to make a dig at ex Paige Turley weeks after they almost rekindled their romance.
The Love Island stars won the winter version of the ITV2 dating show back in 2020 and appeared to be one of the strongest couples, continuing their relationship outside the villa and moving in together during lockdown – with Finn, 24, even getting a tattoo dedicated to Paige, 26, and at one point saying he wanted to marry her.
But in June 2023, after speculation they could be on the rocks, Paige confirmed they had indeed split during a chat with Maya Jama on Love Island spin-off Aftersun. The Scottish singer confessed: "We’re still really good friends, we just drifted apart."
In March this year, the pair sparked rumours they may have got back together after both starred in MTV’s Celebrity Ex On The Beach. But Paige – who said “never say never” - was reportedly “mortified” when she discovered Finn had slept with Married At First Sight Australia star Tamara Joy, who was their co-stars on the show.
Paige, who said she was a “hot mess” seeing Finn flirt with other women, only found out about Finn’s indiscretion at the Ex On The Beach launch party following an “emotional reunion” with him on the show. But sources say his hook up with Tamara the night before the reunion was the final nail in the coffin on their romance and there is now no chance of a reconciliation.

But Finn's fling with MAFS Australia star Tamara Joy ruined any chance of a reconciliation (Paramount+)A source told The Sun: “Paige was mortified by Finn’s fling with Tamara. He was the one trying to get her back and then threw his second chance in her face. She’s definitely ruled out ever getting back with him now.” While Finn was said to be “devastated” he’d ruined thing with Paige for a one-night stand.
And in a sign Finn might not be over Paige – who once dated singer Lewis Capaldi - just yet, he took to Instagram as he watched the start of the Euros over the weekend to make what appeared to be a dig at his ex. Revealing they probably aren’t on good terms anymore, Finn shared a snap of him and some pals clinking glasses of wines before the Scotland V Germany game, which Scotland lost 5-1. He captioned the post: “Cheers to Scotland losing.” With Paige being from West Lothian in Scotland it seemed to be a direct dig at his former girlfriend.
During a podcast back in April, Paige confirmed her relationship status was single and lifted the lid on how things had been left with Finn. She told Scott McGlynn on Celebrity Skin Talk: “I am single, I don’t know about Finn. We’re amicable. It’s a shame that it didn’t work out, but I wish him all the best. Unfortunately sometimes things just happen. I’ll always have love and respect for him. Coming from the show that we did, you’re always going to have that tie for each other.”
