Lottie Moss has shown off the results of her tattoo removal after admitting the ink was a "drunken mistake".
In December 2022, the younger sister of supermodel, Kate Moss, 26, decided to get the word 'Lover' etched under her eye after a night out in Bali. However, after admitting she regretted the decision on Celebs Go Dating, the reality star is getting the tattoo lasered off.
Rocking up at the Raffaello Summer Day in Berlin on Tuesday with supermodel, Elle MacPherson, Lottie made sure all eyes were on her in a plunging, cut-away glitzy garment and towering black stilettos. A trace of her tattoo could still be seen, but it's faded a lot since she's started the removal process.
Lottie, who has several inkings on her arms, had previously defended the tattoo, explaining it was her way of expressing herself following years of "being so controlled". She also mused it represented the fact that she is now "free".
However, last week, the socialite visited celebrity approved tattoo removal clinic, NAAMA Studios, for her first session to have several of her inkings removed after realising she regretted them.
Horror tattoo bungle leaves woman blind after eye-inking goes wrongShe shared a snap of herself sitting in the chair in the clinic and wearing a pair of protective glasses as she got some of the tattoos lasered off.
Captioning the snap she wrote: "Thank you for having me for my first session of tattoo removal @naamastudios - if you regret any of your tattoos like me but are scared of removing because of the pain I 100% recommend [sic] this place, the process is almost painless and super quick!"
Explaining why she was getting much of her collection removed, she continued: "I'm on a tattoo removal journey atm, many of my tattoos I either don't like or just don't align with me anymore so thank you @naamastudios for helping me remove them painlessly and quickly!"
Lottie revealed her Lover tattoo in a TikTok video in December, where she shared a clip of the procedure and her reaction the morning after.
At the end of the video, she told her followers: "I don't really have a lot to say about last night apart from the fact that this could've done without doing," in reference the tattoo.
"But, I actually don't mind it. It's here to stay now we're gonna learn to love it, the world's going to learn to love it, my mum's gonna learn to love it hopefully. Yeah, don't drink alcohol kids," she warned.
However, she later told Glamour magazine the ink was a 'freedom of expression'. The model, who spent time in rehab after battling with substance abuse, mused: "Since rehab, I’ve been on a journey of self-discovery. I’ve spent a lot of time in Bali, surrounded by nature, reading alone or spending time with like-minded people – and learning to love myself again while finally being free from my former life. That’s why I decided to get my face tattoo; the word ‘lover’ under my eye."
