SHIRLEY Ballas has opened up on Princess Kate’s secret Strictly visit.
Dance legend and national treasure Shirley Ballas, 63, recently appeared on Virgin Radio and not only did she share the note she received from Queen Camilla, but she also revealed what really happened when Kate Middleon and the kids paid Strictly a visit.

Shirley recalled that not only did Louis refuse sweets, but they also got to sit in the judges' seats.
She shared: “[Last year] it was Kate with the three children and they were absolutely divine.
What Ola and James Jordan really ate and did to shed 7st“Their behaviour was beautiful and it was Halloween week, so I gave them little crowns and the little boy, Louis, I gave him some sweets, but he wanted a crown, and they were just fabulous.
"The whole day was spectacular.”
Shirley described the young Royals as ‘relaxed’, and hailed the day ‘fantastic’.
She continued: “The thing was that, you know, people were all a little bit nervous, but they were so relaxed, and the children were running around and they got to sit in all the seats of the judges.
“It was fantastic. We were welcoming and they were very, very beautiful human beings.”
In addition to this, Shirley explained what happened when she sent her book to Queen Camilla.
She added: “When I wrote my book, Murder on the Dancefloor, I sent it to Camilla.
“I thought, ‘Oh, I'm not sure I'll get a reply’. She wrote me the most beautiful letter back, handwritten and it'll be framed and put on my wall.
“I just thought she might enjoy a behind-the-scenes. [I] believe she's got the most amazing sense of humour and I know she loves the show.”

To this, Chris added: “She does adore the show because I know her a bit and she does love the show. I'm sure she'd love to go because you had some royals last year at Strictly.”
Shirley then replied: “She can come as a guest of mine.”
When it comes to the risque scenes in her book, Shirley continued: “I wouldn't open it on an aeroplane if anybody else can read it, because there are some very saucy scenes.
“I’d like to know what Camilla thinks about those sexy saucy scenes.”
'DELIGHTED TO BE INVITED'
At the time of the royal Strictly visit, it was reported that the youngsters were able to deliver verdicts with scoring paddles for dancers Katya Jones and Neil Jones.
Kate and the kids were then introduced to presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, and got to meet pros including Dianne Buswell and Nadiya Bychkova.
During their two-hour visit, they were shown the costume department, and stood on the balcony where the contestants gather above the dance floor at BBC’s Elstree studios.
A source said: “Kate and Charlotte are huge fans of Strictly so they were delighted to be invited.

King Charles, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76, are also big fans, as was the late Queen.
