And while others are being kept tightly under wraps for now, we’ve no doubt they’re going to be some of the most sought-after and coveted skin, hair and beauty heroes.

Save £135 on this luxury Hugo Boss robe that's now less than £35!The announcement comes as Boots continues to overhaul the beauty shopping experience in its stores. Following the successful makeover of over 170 stores to date, Boots’ beauty halls are now getting bigger and better.
And while there’s unsurprisingly much buzz about the brands to come, as a beauty writer, I already feel like a kid at Christmas with the Argos catalogue following the most recent . I’ve taken a look at nine of the brands that have already launched at Boots in 2024 and selected my top picks from each one. Whether you’re a beauty expert or are just discovering them for the first time, here’s what I recommend adding to your Boots basket this summer.
Many of us will spend each morning and night lovingly applying cleansers, toners, serums and moisturisers to our face - but around 90 per cent of our skin is actually below the neck, and I think most of us are guilty of neglecting it. Described as the ‘first skin care brand based on skin positivity’, was founded by an acne sufferer, so their products have a real focus on helping alleviate skin concerns.
This helps prevent spots, evens out skin tone, and reduces scars, redness and blemishes using exfoliating salicylic acid (2% BHA). It’s said to reduce spots and blemishes from the first use, helps prevent future breakouts and inflammation and works to heal old, new and stubborn acne scars.
Not everyone is a fan of salicylic acid, though, and if that’s the case, I also really like the , which is under a tenner.
Coats is the skincare brand I wish I knew about as a teen. Their dermatologist-approved, clinically-proven breakout-preventing skincare is and ideal for anyone just starting out on their skincare journey.
As I’d not previously heard of the brand, I’m yet to have tried any of their products, so the first thing that would be going in my basket is this , which allows shoppers to try out the science-powered routine at a lower cost before committing to full-size products.
Best suited to combination to dry skin, the set contains a gentle , all of which are fragrance, oil and paraben free, as well as vegan and cruelty free.
One shopper rated the set five stars, commenting: “I bought this for my 13 year old daughter after she told me about it and was pleased to see it’s dermatologist approved and designed for younger skin. It’s a simple 3 step routine and it really has improved her skin.
“After just two weeks her skin was clearer and she hasn’t had a breakout since using it, so she's happy. I’m also pleased it’s not expensive and unlike lots of other brands she asked for, this seems to be designed for her and is gentle. . I’d recommend the starter kit to anyone looking for something for their teens skin it’s a great safe start to skincare.”
£8 item which makes your home 'instantly warmer' can slash energy bills by £100sAnother added: “This collection is okay. The cleanser is hydrating, you don't need to moisturise straight after washing. The milk toner is a bit questionable, not sure if its done anything for me apart from sting a little from my exfoliated skin. The triple water cream was good, does the job of moisturising and sinking into the skin.”
If there was an award for most viral primer in 2024, it would surely be , because there isn’t a soul on TikTok I haven’t seen using this. The oil-free formula helps to hydrate skin and create a gripping base for long-lasting makeup, and is super affordable at £10.
Packed with cherry extract and hyaluronic acid, the has a unique and immediately recognisable red hue that applies clearly before going a little bit tacky which helps adhere makeup to the skin. Primers that work in a similar way include the and - and having used all three, they’re all great formulas for the summer months.
Since its launch at Boots on June 5, has been a real hit with shoppers, with almost every single product sold out at the time of writing. But worry not, because the product I’m most intrigued by is still available.
Skincare that contains 'snail slime' might sound a little unusual at first, but the clever ingredient is a Korean beauty favourite, thanks to its restorative and anti-ageing properties. Also known as snail mucin, it has been around in the beauty industry for a while - many will have already heard of the - and is also said to have moisturising and protective qualities.
The is no exception, using ginseng paired with 3% ‘snail secretion filtrate to aid with skin elasticity and preventing wrinkles. That said, I certainly appreciate that a lot of people may not be so keen on the idea of rubbing snail slime on their face before bed - I’ll try anything* once though. *within reason.
I first started suffering from KP (Keratosis pilaris) - aka strawberry skin - last summer and it returned again a little earlier this year. Last year I simply lived with it a little unsure what to do and it became a real sore point, literally, when it came to shorts season. But this year when it returned in March, I started using the which I’d received a small tube of in a beauty advent calendar, and after persistent use over around five weeks, I couldn’t believe the improvement.
The sweeps away dry, rough bumps to reveal healthier looking skin that feels exceptionally smooth. Its combination of glycolic and lactic acids, at a combined level of 10 per cent AHAs, helps to resurface skin’s top layer, while pumice physically exfoliates. So I’ve not hesitated at all to add a full-size tube to my bathroom cabinet.
At £27, it may feel a little pricey, but you only need a small amount once or twice a week for it to start working. But I’m not the only one who loves it, as it’s racked up a . One said: “I am obsessed with this product! I have only used it a couple times, but have seen a HUGE difference in my skin. I highly recommend it.”
Another added: “I bought this for myself as well as my husband, who also has KP...he did not believe it would work. After using it 3 times he was amazed and how smooth his arms were!!! It works as well as it claims and feels so good after. I highly recommend !!!”
But one commented: “I've only used this product about 3 times or so. Haven't noticed much difference. Will keep using. Hopefully will see results soon.”
It’s definitely a product you have to persevere with, but my KP seemingly cleared up ‘overnight’ after using for just over a month.
Never have I ever found a contour stick that boasts both the perfect cool tone and the creamiest, blendable formula until I discovered this one from . I use the shade toasted and it’s such a great shade to leave pale skin tones looking snatched.
The matte, adds instant depth and dimension to your face by mimicking the look of natural shadows. The easy-to-use stick makes sculpting super easy, and it blends like a dream so your contour always looks natural—never cakey, muddy, or streaky.
“Soo creamy and not patchy at all,” said one beauty fan. “And the colour is perfect for a contour would definitely recommend.” But another left it a one-star rating, commenting, “Make sure you check the size of it before ordering it’s ridiculously small for the price looks like a contour stick for a doll”
That said, don’t let the compact size fool you, as Milk says you get in every stick. I’ve had mine since March and have used it daily and there’s still loads left.
When this was released in April, it became the fastest selling fragrance launch in Boots this year. The ‘magnetic ambery floral’ scent boasts notes of star jasmine and blood orange, alongside golden amber, red peony, vanilla musk and cedarwood.
Shoppers say they ‘can’t get enough’ and have already finished their first bottle, commenting: “I’m obsessed with this perfume! it instantly turned to my new fav fragrance!! i bought the small one because I wasn’t sure if I would like it and I hahaha I can’t get enough of this smell”
Another said: “The moment I smelt the tester they sent me in one of my orders, I was in love and had to order the ! By far one of my favourite perfumes ever and it lasts! I could still smell it when I got in bed.”
Though as is often the case with perfumes, it’s really subjective, so may not be to everyone’s tastes. One Boots customer wrote a three star review, adding: “Good , smells nice. Very sweet and light, but a bit too floral for me. However, I do like how affordable it is.”
Mark my words, sugar scrub is the new body butter. I think is going to be the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream of summer 2024, and I’m going to need one in every scent.
Tropic Glow is a warm, summer fragrance, but there are plenty to choose from, including watermelon and strawberry. Made with Sugar, Shea Butter, Cupuaçu Butter, Guarana and an array of natural oils including Pistachio, Evening Primrose, Avocado, Macadamia, Sweet Almond, Safflower and Orange Oils, this product not only smells delicious but helps scrub away the day to reveal glowing skin.
While it doesn’t have a raft of reviews just yet, one shopper has given it four stars, commenting: “I’ve just bought this and the packaging is cute and it’s quite big so it will probably last me a while. It and it goes on well leaving skin so soft.”
While a lot of celebrity-approved skincare can be pretty pricey, from Kim Kardashian’s go-to Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream to Chrissy Tiegan’s favourite La Mer moisturiser, Molly-Mae Hague’s is comparatively much more affordable at Boots. During a recent trip to Ibiza for her sister Zoe Hague's hen do, Molly took to YouTube to film a 'get ready with me' vlog, where she mentioned she was almost out of her favourite
The moisturiser which is said to be 'great for oily skin types,' is . Mentioning how rare it is for her to finish a product, Molly added: "‘if you’re not using the , then quite frankly, where are you at?"
Perfect for day and night, this radiant-boosting moisturiser relieved damaged skin and locks in moisture for up to 100 hours. The 'blue' in the name refers to a form of hyaluronic acid that is fermented with deep sea algae, which has a low molecular weight. In simpler terms, one swipe of allows intense moisture to penetrate deep into the skin whilst also strengthening the skin's barrier and reducing redness.
A Pepta-Panthenol Complex works alongside cholesterol and fatty acids to further hydrate the skin and strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier while its on the skin, but is light enough to be worn underneath other skincare products, or makeup.
As well as Molly-Mae's glowing review, plenty of other skincare fanatics are . One said: “Great everyday moisturiser and fab price. I've been using this during the day, it's really hydrating on my skin and feels firmer with a natural glow. I love the packaging and application stick that comes in the box, easy application. I'll be buying this again! Highly recommend.”
A second added: “I work outdoors and have to say this I’m always sceptical of trying new skincare brands as I tend to get dry patches on my cheeks and forehead but with using this for the last several days I have only had to moisturise once in the am and again before bed! Kept my skin wonderfully moisturised and clear throughout the day. Lovely little pot which is refillable (bonus!) and a handy little applicator plus you really do only need a small amount as it goes quite a long way! No breakouts as of yet and no clogged pores! Makeup goes on well over it as it almost doubles as a primer in my opinion!”
And if this is what Boots have already released this year, we can only imagine - if not even better.
