Al-Nassr delay Van Dijk move
Al-Nassr have put the brakes on their move for Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk. The Dutchman is out of contract at Anfield next summer and is seen as a key figure by new boss Arne Slot.

But according to The Athletic, Nasse are yet to make any contact with the Reds over a potential deal. Van Dijk is currently on track to become a free agent next summer and can sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas team from January.

Liverpool suffer Hancko blow
The wife of Liverpool target David Hancko has hinted the defender may snub a move to Anfield. Hancko has emerged as an option as the Reds seek to replace Joel Matip, though the Slovakian's wife does not appear keen on Merseyside.
Karolina Pliskova, a professional tennis player, told Czech Republic newspaper Sport: “It will be dealt with this summer. Probably only after the (Euros) championship, but I’m not such an expert.
“I don’t know if it’s up for grabs, but I think he’d like to move on. Actually, we would both be happy. We’ll see what will happen in the end. I’m not complaining, but there are definitely better places. For me, Spain or Italy.”
Diaz prepares for Barca meeting
Luis Diaz is set to meet with Barcelona chiefs as a potential transfer to Catalonia gathers pace. Diaz has starred for Liverpool and insisted he is happy with life at Anfield, but has become a top target for Barca.
The La Liga giants are keen to make a splash in the transfer market for new boss Hansi Flick after a disappointing campaign. According to Sport, they are pushing hard to sign Diaz and will meet with him in the Unites States this week.
Barca are hoping to convince Diaz to make the move to Spain this summer. Sporting director Deco is the main driver behind Barca's interest and he is ready to make his first formal move for Diaz, who is currently preparing to play in the Copa America.
